Koh Kood is one of Thailand’s most unspoilt islands, located south-east of Koh Chang in Trat Province. There is no airport and no car ferry, so all travellers must reach Koh Kood by passenger boat from the mainland or via Koh Chang and Koh Mak. All mainland boats to Koh Kood depart from Laem Sok Pier, around 30 minutes from Trat town and Trat Airport.
This updated 2026 guide explains how to get to Koh Kood from Bangkok, Trat and Koh Chang, including flight connections to Trat Airport, bus and minivan routes, private taxi prices, ferry and speedboat timetables from Laem Sok, and a detailed pier map.
