The Chill Resort & Spa

The Chill Resort & Spa is a private getaway paradise offering a truly unique experience and privacy ideally situated overlooking Kai Bae beach on the West coast of Ko Chang. Also known as Elephant Island, this is one of the largest islands off the shore of Thailand. Inland, a dense steep jungle covers the island.

Accommodation types

There are three categories of luxury rooms and two independent villas at the Chill Resort all offering beautiful tropical postmodern accommodation. On the ground floor and second floor the Splash Pool Access rooms and the Chill Deluxe Rooms both provide guests with a cosy living space of 50 sq.m. The Splash Pool Access rooms have a private pool access terrace and a daybed right by the pool while the Chill Deluxe Rooms include a private balcony with a daybed overlooking the pool. The decoration in both types of room is stylishly modern with minimal contemporary artwork., Carefully selected organic amenities await guests in the large bathroom fitted with a rain shower.

The Sky Jacuzzi Suite on the top floor offers a spacious living area of 100 sq.m., with a palatial terrace overlooking the neighbourhood of Kai Bae beach furnished with a large daybed and a dining table. The terrace is separated from the luxurious master bedroom by a sliding glass door with curtain. The oversized bathroom is equipped with a whirlpool jacuzzi, a rain shower box, two wash basins as well as a small private dressing area.

Both the Beach Front Pool Villa and the Pool Villa are two-storey buildings right next to the beach with 190 sq.m. of living space, a private plunge pool and a lounging area with private access to the main pool on the doorstep. A spacious living room with a 40” flat screen TV and a fully fitted powder room take up the ground floor. Stylish furnishings and contemporary artwork enhance the modern decor.

In front of the hotel, Kae Bae beach is a beautifully tranquil white-sand beach.
Along the island’s coast are a series of other beaches and villages like Bang Bao built on piers while Mu Ko Chang National Park offers hiking trails with spectacular views of waterfalls such as tiered Kong Plu in the jungle at the rear of the resort. The fabulous coral reefs offshore are also part of the national park.
